Speaking on a chat show, Kamran advised his younger brother to observe and learn the behaviour from the likes of greats like of Kohli and Pakistan's T20 captain and now ODI captain also Babar Azam.

"My advice to Umar is to learn, If he has made a mistake, he should learn from others because he is still young. There are many problems in life," he said.  He Should learn from Virat Kohli, in the early days Kohli was different in IPL but then he changed his attitude and style, look how he has become the number one batsman in the world. If Umar follows him I am confident he will also change.

Kamran Akmal believes that his brother and hard hitting batsman should start living his life to the best of his ability despite starting his career like Indian captain Virat Kohli.
